<br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission requesting that
<br />the Council take action as soon as possible relative to the formulatid~
<br />and passage of a Parking Ordinance, and on motion of Councilman
<br />McBride, seconded by Larsen and carried, the communication was received
<br />and filed. It was moved by Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and
<br />carried, that the proposed Parking Ordinance be referred to the
<br />
<br />Council as a committee of the whole for study and considerstion to be
<br />given at meeting to be held November 15th, 195A and Planning Commissiea
<br />to be advised of Council action.

<br />On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion of Council~;
<br />
<br />man Ds/al, seconded by Jerome and carried, the request of the Safeway
<br />Stores to widen the two drive,~ays at 1~38-50 Cypress Avenue to 20'
<br />feet by extending the width of each driveway 8' to the south and allow~
<br />
<br />ing ingress or egress on either driveway, in connection with Store No.i
<br />
<br />432 at 1437 South Main Street, was
