RESOLUTION 70-~1~ ORDERING THE VACATION OF A <br />PORTION OF McFADDEN AVENUE WEST OF VILLAGE WAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works <br />and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha, Resolution <br />70-101 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate that <br />certain street right of way herein described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 21, 1970, a public hearing was duly held <br />on said street vacation on posted notices and the publication of <br />Resolution 70-82; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha does hereby find that that portion of McFadden Avenue <br />west of Village Way is unnecessary for present or prospective street <br />purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning and vacating <br />for street purposes that certain right of way in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br />That portion of Parcel 1, in the City of Santa Ana, County of <br />Orange, State of California, as per map filed in Book 27, Page 49 <br />of Parcel Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said <br />County, described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at an angle point in the Northerly line of said Parcel 1, <br />said point being the Easterly terminus of that certain course in <br />said Northerly line shown on said map as "North 88° 55' 45" East <br />287.68 feet"; said point also being a point in a line that is <br />parallel with and distant Southerly 40.00 feet, measured at right <br />angles from the center line of McFadden Avenue, as shown on said <br />map; thence North 88° 55' 45" East parallel with said center line <br />of McFadden Avenue, a distance of 138.12 feet to the beginning of <br />a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 27.00 <br />feet, said curve being tangent at its Southerly terminus to a line <br />that is parallel with and distant Westerly 30.00 feet, measured <br />at right angles, from the center line of Village Way, as shown <br />on said map; thence Easterly and Southeasterly along said curve <br />through a central angle of 53° 28' 33" an arc distance of 25.20 <br />feet to the Easterly terminus of that certain course in the <br />Northerly line of said Parcel 1, shown on said map as "North 87° <br />09' 25" West 160.19 feet"; thence North 87° 09' 25" West along <br />said Northerly line of Parcel 1 a distance of 160.19 feet to the <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, <br />at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of December , 1970. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
