RESOLUTION NO. 72-82 <br /> <br />Furthermore, the division of the interior area should <br />provide an adequate number of rooms for the family. All <br />rooms must be adequately ventilated. <br /> <br /> 5. The Director of Public Works is authorized to establish <br />special standards which are applicable to rooming house, sleeping <br />room facilities, and mobile homes to determine if such facilities <br />constitute a decent, safe, and sanitary dwelling. <br /> <br />6. The Room Count Moving Expense schedule is adopted as follows: <br /> <br />The "Room Count" method provides a flat amount based on <br />the number of rooms of furniture and personal belongings <br />which must be moved. The amounts are: <br /> <br />1 Room $ 50 5 Rooms $200 <br />2 Rooms 80 6 Rooms 240 <br />3 Rooms 120 7 Rooms 280 <br />4 Rooms 160 8 Rooms <br /> or more 300* <br /> <br />*Maximum Payment <br /> <br />If the landlord owns the furniture and the tenant furnishes <br />none or only a small amount of the household equipment, <br />payment will be as follows: <br /> <br />First room $ 15 <br />For each room after that 10 <br />Maximum payment 300 <br /> <br /> 7. The mobile home square foot schedule for moving expenses is <br />established as follows: <br /> <br />The Square Foot Schedule method provides payment of moving <br />expenses based upon the length of the external wall <br />measured at floor level. <br /> <br />The payment schedule is as follows: <br /> <br />300 sq. ft. or less $130 <br />from 301 sq. ft. to 400 sq. ft. 180 <br />from 401 sq. ft. to 500 sq. ft. 210 <br />from 501 sq. ft. to 600 sq. ft 240 <br />from 601 sq. ft. to 700 sq. ft. 270 <br />over 700 sq. ft. 300* <br /> <br />*Maximum payment <br /> <br />For double units, the payment will be computed for <br />each separate component, but the total may not <br />exceed $300. In addition, if you choose to receive <br />payment based on the above schedule, you will <br />receive a Dislocation Allowance of $200. <br /> <br /> 8. The Director of Public Works shall consult with the <br />Assistant to the City Manager - Community Relations or an equivalent <br />representative designated by the City Manager, and the City of <br />Santa Ana Housing Authority on the implementation of this program. <br /> <br />- 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
