Chandler <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Manager and on ,motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by <br /> <br />Heinly and carried, the request of F.R.Harwood, Postmaster, was granted for permissi <br /> on 7th Street, <br />to enlarge the approach to the Post Office driveway~from the existing 14' to 39' 3". <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by : Dahl ~nd carried, the following Resolution entitled <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 56-32 concerning parking limitations and curb <br />markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing a red zone on the west side of Birch Street between Eighth and Tenth <br /> <br />Streets, in accordance with request of Glenn M. Lashbrook, et al was considered and <br /> <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Dale H. Heinly, J. Ogden Markel, Milford W. Dahl, <br /> Courtney R. Chandler <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br />Not voting~ Councilmen William Jerome <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following Resolution entitled <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 56-33 concerning parking limitations and curb <br />markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing green zones ~n the west side of Birch Street between Eighth and Tenth <br /> <br />Streets, in accordance with request of Glenn M. Dabl <br /> <br />On reconm~ndation of the Manager and on motion .of Councilman Heinly, <br /> <br />seconded by <br /> <br />Jerome and carried, the request of Shell Oil Company was granted for four 35' drive- <br />at the northwest corner of Washington and Grand Avenues, <br />waysa/in accordance with the plan, subject to the prOvisio~ that, at the' corner~ the <br /> <br />back side of concrete landing shall be on a 15' radius rather than coming to a point. <br /> <br />Communication was read from Richfield 0il Corporation that two 30' driveways be con- <br /> <br />structed on Bristol Street, one 30' and one 25' driveway on Fairview Avenue for pro- <br /> <br />posed service station to be erected on Bristol and Fairview. On recommendation of <br /> <br />the Manager and on motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Heinly and carried, <br /> <br />permission was granted for three 35' driveways; two being on Bristol Street and one <br /> <br />on Fairview Avenue. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 56-34 concerning parking limitations and curb <br />markings.in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />rescinding and establishing a loading zone, in accordance with request of Hale <br /> <br />Furniture Company, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />N~es, Cou/lc ilme n <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />Dale H.
