Farr to permit a five foot decrease in front yard require- <br />ments on property at the southwest corner of College Avenue and Martha Lane, 171~ <br />and 1722 Martha Lane. Co~amunication was read from the applicant modifying his <br />request for variance on Lots lO1 and 102, Tract No. 1925 in setback from five feet <br />to two and one-half feet. Two persons stood in protest. On motion of Councilman <br />Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, the recommendation of the Plenning C~mmission <br />was approved and the variance denied. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning C~mmission submitting ~msolution No. 965 <br />recommending the reclassification of property located on the north side of West Firs <br />Street between Bristol and Shelton Streets, from the R-2 District to the C-1-P~ <br />District reference ~m~ndment application of Otto Trapp et al. On motion of Counci2 <br />re=n. Dahl, seconded by Reinly and carried, a notice was ordered published setting the <br />date of public hearing as Mmy 7th, 1956. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission submitting Resolution No. 969 <br />recommending the reclassification of a 19.94 acre parcel of land located on the <br /> <br />north side of Delhi Road between Bristol Street and Faix~iew Road, frc~ the R-1 <br /> application of W.F.Croddy, <br />District to the R-B District, in accor~ce with amendment_/ On motion of Councilman <br /> <br />D~h~ seconded by Markel and carried, a notice was ordered published setting the <br />date of public hearing as May 7th, 1956. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the planning Commission submitting Resolution No. 970 <br />recommending the reclassification of property consisting of approximately 105.72 <br />acres, situated south of Harvard Street, between Harbor Boulevard and Fairview Road <br />from the R-1 District to the M-1 District, in accordance with amendment application <br />of W.F.Croddy. On motion of CounciLman D~h!, seconded by Markel and carried, a <br />notice was ordered published setting the date of public hearing as May 7th~ 1956. <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission submitting Resolution No. 968 <br />recommending the reclassification of a parcel of land located on the south side of <br />Fairview Avenue, beginning at a point approximately 492 feet west of the center line <br />of Bristol Street and Fairview Avenue and extending west for 400 feet, with a depth <br />of 1027 feet south, with the exception of the northerly 130 feet of the property <br />measured south from the center line of Fairview Avenue, from the R-1 District to the <br />C~2-PK District, reference amendment application of Jam~s R. Mitchell. On motion <br />of Councilman D~hl, seconded by Markel and carried, a notice was ordered published <br />setting the date of public hearing as May 7th, 1956. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission submitting Resolution No. 967 <br />recommending the reclassification of approximately 12.15~ acres located on the west <br />side of King Street between Eighth and Eleventh Streets, from the R-1 District to t~ <br />R-2 District, in accordance with ~m~ndment application of Orville N.
