On motion of Counci]mmn Beinly, seconded by Markel and carried <br /> the recommendation of the Cormmission was approved and the extension of time was <br /> grante d. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, proper officials <br /> were authorized to execute a~reememt with Mary F. Long to construct six steel <br /> poles in front of property at 208 West First Street, extending over and upon the <br /> area between the center of said street and the setback line. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, Preliminary Map <br /> presented by Jerome B. Walden~ owner of 2.2~ acres located east of the Santa Ana <br /> Freeway, approximately ~94.43 feet northwesterly of Roe Drive, was approved. <br /> <br /> On motion of Counci]mm~ Beinly, seconded by Markel and carried, Tentative Map of <br /> Tract No. 301~, submitted by Boner Development Company, on property located south <br /> of Santa Clara Avenue at Buffalo Street, between Towner Street and future extension <br /> of Olive Street, and north of 21st Street, consisting of thirty-two lots which face <br /> on Freem~n and Buffalo Streets, was approved. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and ~arried, Preliminary Map <br /> presented by Wm. R. Sides, owner of property consisting of 125 feet facing Cubbon <br /> Street and lO1 feet facing Cypress Street, and located at the southwest corner of <br /> said Streets, was approved, subject to conditions as set forth by the Department of <br /> Public Works. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman D,hl, seconded by Markel and carried, the Record of Survey <br /> Map submitted by Wm. R. Sides, on property located at the southwest corner of <br /> Cubbon and Cypress Avenue, was approved and license fee of $50.00 accepted. <br /> <br /> The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the following Resolution entitled <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 56-125 accepting Grant Deed" <br /> <br /> from Wm. R. Sides, on property located at the southwest corner of Cubbon and <br /> Cypress Avenue, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Councilmen Dale B. Heinly, J. Ogden Markel, William Jerome, <br /> Milford W. D~hl, Courtney R. Chandler <br /> Noes, Councilmen None <br /> Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Beinly, seconded by Jerome and carried, the Record of <br />Survey Map submitted by Roy and Maurine Russell, on property located at the north- <br />west corner of Edgewood Road and Santiago Avenue, and bond in the amount of $700.00 <br />were approved, license pa~a~ent fee in +.h~ sum of $100.00 accepted and the agreement <br />covering improvements was ordered signed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Counc~lm~n Jerome, seconded by Markel and carried, that escrow <br /> instructions be approved and signed for various properties on Bristol Street and <br /> <br />warrants ordered issued covering the costs as follows: <br /> <br />B.J.Morey & Estate of Jeanette Morey, deceased $1200.00 <br />Alvin C. and Lydia May Stauffer 185G.00 <br />Joseph and Mary F.
