Jeffrey Cook On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the notifications of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control of beverage applications of Flora E. Pinnix~ 129 W. 17th Street~ Evelyn M. Wickman~ 220 E. ~th Street~ Pioneer Distributing Company, lll2 E. 17th Street~ William C. Connell and Jack L. Jarman, 316 East Third Street, Leona W. and Richard A. Br!ggs~ 510 N. Main Street~ Leonard J. and Priscilla E. Holmberg~ 1659 E. 1st Street~ were received and filed. On motion of Councilm~u Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the applications of Vernon Cannaday, Thomas Lagano~ Romeo Comeau, John Lowman, Owen Smith, Robert Moreland Sr., David Shuker, Charles Devereaux, Lyle Elliott~ Jr., James Goffredo, Richard Kohnert and Irene Mason~ %o drive taxicabs, were granted. On motion of Councilm~n Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, Tentative Map of Tract No. 3105, submitted by Juanita Cannoy, of property located on the south side of Fruit Street ~mediately east of the Freeway~ and consisting of seven lots, was referred to the Council as a committee of the whole and a letter ordered directed to the owner requesting her presence at the meeting to be held August 6th~ 1956. On motion of Councilman Dahl~ seconded by Markel and carried~ the following named persons were re-appointed to the various Commissions and Boards: Personnel. Heine " " " " " " On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Heinly and carried, Mrs. Idella Dye was appointed as a member of the Board of Recreation and Parks, under the conditions of the Board as to lengt~h of term. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, Herbert L. Hill, Donald P. Kennedy and Lee J. Hasenjaeger, were appointed as members of the Commission of the Santa Ana Vehicle Parkin~ District No. l, under the conditions of the Commis- sion as to length of term. Communication was read from Mrs. Dean O. ~eidt, 2~37 South Shelton Street, request- ing that the residents in the "Colorama Homes Tract" on South Shelton Street be permitted to use the vehicle ramps to enter and exit from South Shelton Street to Delhi Road, and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the matter was referred to the Manager for an answer. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the communication dated July 6, 1956, together with Resolution No. 1371 from the City of Orange advising of proposed annexation of certain real property, was received and filed. On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the following bonds filed by various persmn~ for ~%he improvements in subdivision tracts were ordered released and improvements accepted as completed: Walter J. Calland Edmond Stephan Edmond Stephan Tract No. 2170 Tract No. 2278 Tract No~ 2279 $ 23,000.00 49,750.00 18,000.00 and $37,500.00 The Manager submitted a written report outlining the action to be taken to alleviate the.cc~plainl~as registered by Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Cook, of the activities held in Alona Park. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, the report was received, filed and the Manager instructed to advise the complm.i~ant of the action taken.
