Holmberg~ 1659 E. 1st Street~ were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilm~u Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the applications of <br />Vernon Cannaday, Thomas Lagano~ Romeo Comeau, John Lowman, Owen Smith, Robert <br />Moreland Sr., David Shuker, Charles Devereaux, Lyle Elliott~ Jr., James Goffredo, <br />Richard Kohnert and Irene Mason~ %o drive taxicabs, were granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilm~n Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, Tentative Map of Tract <br />No. 3105, submitted by Juanita Cannoy, of property located on the south side of Fruit <br />Street ~mediately east of the Freeway~ and consisting of seven lots, was referred <br />to the Council as a committee of the whole and a letter ordered directed to the <br />owner requesting her presence at the meeting to be held August 6th~ 1956. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl~ seconded by Markel and carried~ the following named <br />persons were re-appointed to the various Commissions and Boards: <br /> <br />Personnel. Heine " " " " " " <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Heinly and carried, Mrs. Idella Dye was <br />appointed as a member of the Board of Recreation and Parks, under the conditions <br />of the Board as to lengt~h of term. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, Herbert L. Hill, <br /> <br />Donald P. Kennedy and Lee J. Hasenjaeger, were appointed as members of the Commission <br />of the Santa Ana Vehicle Parkin~ District No. l, under the conditions of the Commis- <br />sion as to length of term. <br /> <br />Communication was read from Mrs. Dean O. ~eidt, 2~37 South Shelton Street, request- <br />ing that the residents in the "Colorama Homes Tract" on South Shelton Street be <br />permitted to use the vehicle ramps to enter and exit from South Shelton Street to <br />Delhi Road, and on motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Heinly and carried, the <br />matter was referred to the Manager for an answer. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the communication dated <br />July 6, 1956, together with Resolution No. 1371 from the City of Orange advising of <br />proposed annexation of certain real property, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the following bonds <br />filed by various persmn~ for ~%he improvements in subdivision tracts were <br /> <br />ordered released and improvements accepted as completed: <br /> <br />Walter J. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Markel and carried, the <br />report was received, filed and the Manager instructed to advise the complm.i~ant <br />of the action taken. <br /> <br /> <br />
