35. <br /> <br />METHODOLOGY (Continued) <br /> <br /> To insure accomplishment of the technical and admini- <br /> strative coordination requirements of the project, an <br /> Advisory Committee will be established comprised of <br /> Division Commanders from the Santa Ana Police Depart- <br /> ment. The Advisory Co~ittee ~ill assist in estab- <br /> lishing a preliminary set of system criteria and per- <br /> formance standards to be used as guidelines for the <br /> ongoing project modules and development activities. <br /> <br /> The Advisory Committee will actively participate in the <br /> formulation of the necessary procedural requirements <br /> to be expanded and tailored during the course of the <br /> project. Travel to and review of similar successful <br /> systems and their h_ghl!ghts for evaluation and Con- <br /> sideration for possible implementation in this system <br /> will be provided by the Santa Aha Police Department. <br /> Potential sites are Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Los <br /> Angeles, Baldwin Park and Ne%~port Beach. <br /> <br />The procedures outlined in the Orange County System <br />Developmen~ ~4anual will be utilized by the Advisory <br />Com~i~tee.and project technical staff where appropriate <br /> . <br />to insure compatibility of effort with existing and/or <br /> <br />projected information system development projects in <br />Orange County.
