Heialy, J. Ogden Markel, Milford W. Dahl <br />Noes, Councilmen William Jerome <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Hefnly and carried, the recommendation <br />of the planning Commission was approved and the variance of Scott & Company granted <br />to permit construction of one-story sixteen-unit medical building, together with <br />pharmacy and fountain, on property at 119 Edgewood Road, in R-1 District, subject <br />to condition of the Commission and the further condition of the Depar'~ment of <br />Public Works. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~lm~n M~rkel, seconded by Heinly and carried, the recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance application, as amended, <br />of Ramona Ey O'Keefe and Patricia Ey ;;~wris granted to permit construction of a <br />concrete building at 901, 903, 905, 907, ~0~ and 911 Bush Street, for barber shop, <br />dress shop, sporting goods shop, advertising agency and restaurant, subject to con- <br />ditions of the Commission and the further conditions of the Department of Public <br />Works. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Heinly and carried, the recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of George E. Callens <br />granted to permit construction and occupancy of a one-story, professional-type <br />building, approximately 55' x 57', on property at 1415 South Broadway, with deleti~ <br />of the side-yard requirement on north side of building, space to be provided for o~ <br />street parking for 13 to 15 cars, as shown on plot plan, the building to be used fo~ <br />one firm of Accountamts and one firm of Attorneys. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the recommendation <br />of the Planning Co~g~ission was approved and the variance of Amron Development <br />Company granted to permit establishment of temporary sales office and erection of <br />nineteen temporary directional signs, to advertise new houses in new trac~s, locate¢ <br />at Halladay Street between Beverly Place and Myrtle Street, subject to conditions <br />as imposed by the Corem1 ssion. <br /> <br />On ~otion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the recommendation <br />of the Planning Corem1 ssion was approved and the variance of Donal K. MacKenzie <br />granted to permit establishment and operation of a photographic ~wkroom and office <br />for a photographic service, in existing building on property at 208 South Sycamore <br />Street, subject to conditions as imposed by the Commission and the Department of <br />Public Works. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending denial of variance <br />application of Dr. Jerome J. Krueger to permit construction of a medical office <br />building, 41'6" x 50', consisting of office space for the applicant and for one <br />other doctor, with six off-street parking spaces, on property at the southwest <br />corner of the intersection of Flower Street and Washington Avenue. It w~s moved <br />by Counci~m~n Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, that a Resolution be adopted <br />granting the variance subject to conditions as imposed by the Department of Public <br />Works and the further condition that the plot plan, as submitted with the applicati <br />be adhered to.
