On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the communication from the Planning Co~mission recommending approval of proposal to annex property consisting of approximately 87 acres, situated on the north s~de of Fruit Street, between Mabury Street and Tustin Avenue, Just south of proposed'$hbu~y Annex No. 2" to be known as "Mabury Annex No. ~ ! was received and filed. It was moved by Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, that the Petitio requesting? Council consent to the commencement of annexation proceedings to effect territory north and cast of Santa Aha, designated "North of Tustin Annexation", f~led at the adjourned special meeting held this date, be resubmitted, received and fited; and, that Resolution No. 57-100, adopted at the adjourned special meeti~ held April 15, 1957 be approved and the Council hereby consents that proceedings t~. annex the territory therein described under the ;mnexation Act of 1913 is hereby given. Communication was read from Bart Constraotion Company requesting the elimination of sidewalks in Record of Sui~ey Map~ submitted by ' ~4r~ht Ltd., on property locate, on the west side of North S~urgeon Street bet%~en East Buff~.~to Avenue and East ~nty-second St~et~ and on motion of Co~ciLman Heinly~ seconded by M~kel and carried, the matter was continued until the next re,ar meeting.
