The <br /> <br />Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Markel, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitle~: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 57-130 changing the name of ~'Church Street' to <br /> 'Eighth Street' in the City of Santa Aha" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLman Markel, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Tentative Map of <br />Tracts No. 3244 and 3245, filed by the Orange County Development Ccmpany, of property <br />located on the east side of Pacific Avenue between Wilshire and Fairview Avenue, <br /> <br />consisting of fifty-one lots, was approved, subject to the conditions set forth in <br /> <br />the report of the Department of Public Works. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Tentative Map of <br />Tract No. 2929, filed by Carl Homes, Inc., Center Homes, Inc., Fairhill Homes, Inc., <br />Phillip Homes, Inc., Young Homes, Inc. and Andrews Homes, Inc., of property consist- <br /> <br />ing of ninety-six lots located on the east side of Greenville Street extending from <br /> <br />Glenwood Street south to one lot depth south of St. Gertrude Place, being approx- <br /> <br />imately 21.326 acres, was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Map of Tract No. <br /> <br />2929, filed by Carl Homes, Inc., Center Homes, Inc., Fairhill Homes, Inc., Phillip <br /> <br />Homes, Inc., Young Homes, Inc. and Andrews Homes, Inc.,, for the dedication of <br /> <br />property consisting of ninety-six lots located on the east side of Greenville Street <br /> <br />extending from Glenwood Street south to one lot depth south of St. Gertrude Place, <br /> <br />being approximately 21.326 acres, and bond in the amount of $93,000.00 were approved <br /> <br />license payment fee in the sum of $4,800.00 accepted and agreement covering improve-:i <br /> <br />ments was ordered signed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould amd carried, Record of Survey <br /> <br />Map submitted by International Hod Carriers, Building and Common Laborers Union of <br /> <br />Am~.rica, on a parcel 172' wide on the south side of Chestnut Street and 536' deep, <br /> <br />west line being 828' east of the center line of McClay Street, and bond in the amoun' <br />of $1,478.00 were approved and agreement was ordered signed. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that escrow <br />instructions be approved and signed, for various properties to be used for street <br />purposes, from the following persons: <br /> <br />Ouida Penn Pagenkopp, Willard G. Pagenkopp, Edmund A. Pagenkopp and Verna A. <br />Pagenkopp - northwest corner of Main and Walnut Streets, without cash consideration <br />to the owners, and payment of $1900.00 to Union Oil Company for property damnge. <br />Ronald Calvin Hart and Bessie Opal Hart - property on Walnut Street, between Artesia <br />and Daisy Streets, in the sum of $6,750.00; <br />Natividad Garcia and Francisca De Garcia - property on Walnut Street between Artesi! <br />and Daisy Streets, in the sum of $6,250.00; <br />Jose Espinoza - property on Walnut Street between Artesia amd Daisy Streets, in the <br />s~m~ of $7,670.00~ <br />George Husted and Frances Husted - property on Walnut Street between Artesia Street <br />and D~isy Street, in the sum of $5,250.00; <br />Orville E.
