Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hall, seconded by Gould and carried, the Attorney was <br />instructed to prepare an Ordinance regulating trailer parks and trailers parked on <br />private property. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, an expenditure of <br />$4,456.89 was authorized to cover paving on Bishop Street, in Tract No. 3113 in <br />addition to normal residential type street in accordance with Section 7214 of the <br />Municipal Code. <br /> <br />On reconm~ndation of the curb usage committee and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br />seconded by Gould and carried, the request of The Military Order of the Purple <br />Heart, Inc., was denied, for use of one meter parking space to exhibit antique and <br />modern firearms and war equil~ent on a truck. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the curb usage committee and on motion of CounciLman Gould, <br />seconded by Markel and carried, the request of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company <br />for a 24-minute zone in front of their office at ll6-B South Broadway, was denied. <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Hall, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Prohibiting parking in excess of two hours on the north side <br /> of Pine Street between Main Street and Sycamore" <br /> <br />reference request of Clark Dye Hardware, Givens & Cannon Drugs,and Dr. Waldo Wehrly, <br />andnot recommended by the Traffic Engineer, was considered and passed by the fol- <br /> <br />lowing vote: <br /> <br />Aye s, Coancilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br /> Royal E. Heinly <br /> None <br /> None <br /> <br />On recommendation of the curb usage committee and on motion of Councilman Hubbard~ <br />seconded by Gould and carried, the request of Tidewater Oil Company was granted for <br />three 35' driveways at the following locations: on Bristol, center line to be at <br />least 72~' north of the center line of Wilshire, on Bristol, center line to be at <br />least 160½' north of the center line of Wilshire and on Wilshire, center llne to be <br />a minimum of 85' west of the center line of Bristol Street. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the curb usage committee and on motion of Councilman Gould, <br />seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request of the Architect for the James Madison <br />School, at Hobart Street and Standard Avenue, for an over-size driveway for the <br />School parking lot, was granted. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the curb usage committee and on motion of Councilman Could, <br />seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request of Sears Roebuck & Company was granted <br />for two 35' driveways at the new Warehouse on Delhi Road west of Main Street. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 57-~59 concerning through streets in the City <br /> of Santa Ana" <br /> <br />removing the Stop Signs on Sycamore Street at Tenth Street, as recommended by the <br />Traffic Engineer, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, CounciLmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />Royal E.
