<br /> On motion of COl~c~lm~ Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Map of Tract No.
<br /> 3226, filed by John A. Siegel, J.L.Bascom and John H. Siegel, for the dedication of
<br /> Fruit Street between Grand Avenue and the Freeway, and bond in the amount of
<br /> $14,000.00 were approved, license payment fee in the sum of $450.00 accepted and
<br />
<br /> agreement covering improvements was ordered signed.

<br />Com~unications were presented from State House Sales, Inc., and from the Director of
<br />Building Safety. and Housing, reference reconsideration of applications for relocatio
<br />of houses from 4731 Vista Del Monte, Los Angeles to 2120 West Fifth Street and from
<br />8315 Clybourne, Los Angeles to ~ll4~ West Fifth Street. Mr. Gordon representing
<br />the applicants presented pictures of the houses they desire to move into the City
<br />and stated the buildings will be brought up to all standards as required by the
<br />Building Code and will submit a performs, ce bond insuring that al I improvements will
<br />be complied with and al 1 work, as recommended, will be satisfactorily completed.
<br />On motion of Cou~ct]m~u Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the c~mmunicatlons
<br />were received and filed. On motion of Council~u Hall, seconded by Hubbard and
<br />carried, the m~tter was held over until the next meeting for further investigation.
<br />Communication was presented from Cleve Sedoris, owner of an apartment house at 210-
<br />16 North Ross Street, objecting to David Wellbrook operating the loud speaker in a
<br />religious broadcast from his truck parked on the east side of Ross Street at Birch
<br />Park and petition signed by fifteen tenants of the building objecting to the dis-
<br />turbance and nuisance. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and
<br />carried, the communication and petition were received and filed. Mr. Sedoris
<br />stated the operation of the loud speaker is a great disturbance to his tenants and
<br />the truck is bei~ used as living quarters by the operator who is also using the
<br />City facilities at the Park. On motion of Councilman 'Hubbard, seconded by Hall and
<br />carried, the matter was referred to tD~ ~ger for a complete report.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, proper officials
<br />were authorized to execute agreement with Dike and Colegrove covering collection for
<br />disposal of sewage, for a period of ten years, from any person connecting into
<br />sewerage facilities from property on the southerly side of Hobart Street immediate]
<br />south of Tract No. 2~3, at the rate of $1.02 per front foot.

<br />On motion of Counc~m~n Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, proper officials
<br />were Authorized to execute agreement with Dike and Colegrove covering collection f¢
<br />disposal of aewage, for a period of ten years, from any person connecting into
<br />sewere~e facilities from property on the southerly side of Hobart Street fmmediatel
<br />south of Tract No. 2626, at the rate of $1.47 per front foot.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitl.

<br />
<br />from the State of California conveying certain property to the City adjacent to
<br />Prentice Park, in payment of $5,890.00, was considered and passed by the following
<br />
