The existing Calvary Chapel site consists of the <br />following: <br /> <br />.1 office building <br />2 classroom buildings <br />1 nursery building <br />1 fellowship hall <br />1 sanctuary building <br /> Total <br /> <br />'$,800 sq.ft. <br />21,750 sq.ft. <br />2,880 sq.ft. <br />6,000 sq.ft. <br />23,520 sq.ft. <br /> <br />59,960 sq.ft.' <br /> <br />· Required parking for the facility, based on the seating capacity of the <br /> sanctuary, is 635 stalls; total existing parking is 686 spaces. <br /> <br />The applicant proposes at this time Go add a 28,000 sq.ft, two-story class- <br />room building and 622 parking spaces, for a total of 1,208 parking spaces. <br />In addition, tentative plans call for a possible new sanctuary with a <br />seating capacity of 4,70D. If the new sanctuary were to be constructed <br />an additional 372 parkinq spaces would be added, thereby increasing the <br />total number of available parking stalls to 1,580. This would exceed the <br />required 1,567 parking s:alls by thirteen. If the new sanctuary were not <br />to be constructed, the applicant is requesting that two church-related use <br />buildings be permitted adjacent to MacArthur Blvd. In either case, the <br />applicant is requesting that the Planni~)g Co~mdssion authorize the Planning <br />staff to approve specific plans based upon the general plan that has been <br />submitted as a part of this application. <br /> <br />· CUP 76-16 Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
