No. 57-240 <br />Awarding Bonds <br />Library Bonds, <br />1957 <br /> <br />This being the date set for the continued hearing on the amenM~nt application of <br />Margaret L. Na!? for reclassification of property situated south of Nobart Street <br />and west of the J~s Madison School, and north of the easterly extension of Edinger <br />Street, at a depth of appro~m, tely ~00 feet west of the west side of the School <br />property, known as Parcel No. 1, from the R-1 District to the R-S District, and re- <br />classification of property situated west of Standard Avenue, north of St. Andrews <br />Place, fronting on Standard Avenue and commencing at a point south of the inter- <br />section of Standard Avenue and the easterly extension of Edinger, known as Parcel <br />No. 2, from the R-1 District to C-2 District; no protests were received. It was <br />moved by Councilma~ Hall and seconded by Hubbard that the reclassification of <br />property as indicated as Parcel No. 1 be denied and that the westerly portion of th~ <br />School property be retained as R-1 District. Motion withdrawn. It was moved by <br />Councilman Gould and seconded by N~I ~ that the hearing be continued until October <br />21st reference the rezoning of property indicated as Parcel No. 1. Motion withdra~ <br />Attorney Rodger Howell requested permission to withdraw the amendment application <br />as to the effect on property known as Parcel No. 1, Amendment No. 225, and on motioz <br />of Councilman Nal 1, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request for withdrawal of <br />application pertaining to property known as Parcel No. 1 was approved. Edward L. <br />~11 agreed to extend Evergreen Street north to Edinger Street and Cedar Street <br />north to Edinger Street and improve the same when improvements are made on the <br />property. It was moved by Councilm~n G~uld, seconded by Hubbard and carried, that <br />an Ordinance be passed to second reading for the reclassification of the portion of <br />the property westerly of the northerly prolongation of the west curb line of Cedar <br />Street to R-2 District; that portion lying between Cedar Street and Evergreen Street <br />if the streets were extended, and Edinger Street be reclassified as R-B District; <br />that the area between Everg~en Street and Standard Avenue, Edinger Street on the <br />north and the property line on the south be rezoned to C-1 District. On motion of <br />Counc~lm~n Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ord~ueBce entitled <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code <br /> creating changes in district boundaries, and amending Sheet <br /> No. 56 of the Districting Map to show the reclassification'' <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and passed to second reading. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman H~!, seconded by Markel and carried, the Record of Survey <br /> Map submitted by Pacific Southwest ~ealty Company on property located at the south. <br /> east corner of Bristol Street and Delhi Road, being one lot, was approved, check <br /> in the sma of $1~00.00 accepted as deposit for street and sidewalk improvements, an~ <br /> proper officials authorized to execute the agreement. <br /> <br /> The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> Counc~ lmsn ~al 1, s~conded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> '~esolution No. 57-239 accepting Grant Deed" <br /> <br />from Pacific Southwest Realty Company, for an easement for street purposes on <br />property located at the southeast corner of Bristol Street and Delhi Road, being om <br />lot, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Counci~men Royal E.
