<br />The Mayor ~-~unced this is the time and place for hearing evidence to determine
<br />whether the public convenience and necessity require the improvement of Oak, Eilsonl
<br />Nickory, Wa~laday, portion of Rousselle, Oedar, Evergreen, portion of Stan~_~xl,
<br />
<br />St. A~ld~w, St. C~rtrud~, ~nablArst ~ Portion of Delhi, in Assesmaent District No.
<br />
<br />199, and asked the Clerk if she was in possession of the affidavit of publication
<br />
<br />and affidavit of posting. The Clerk stated she had the affidavit of publication
<br />
<br />and affidavit of posting, and on motion of Councilm~- Hubbard, seconded by Hall
<br />
<br />and carried, the affidavits w~re received and filed. The Clerk stated there were
<br />
<br />no written protests. The Mayor asked if there were any oral protests, and there
<br />
<br />none, on motion of Co~lno~lman Ral], seconded by Hubbard -n~ carried, the
<br />
<br />hearing was closed. The Council having ,,~,imously waived the reading of the

<br />Resolution, on motion of Councilman GOuld, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the

<br />following Hesolution entitled:

<br />"Resolution No. 58-150 of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana,
<br />California, finding that the public convenience and necessity re-
<br />~uire the improvement of St. Andrew Place ~n& other streets, all
<br />within the City of Santa Ama"

<br />was considered and passed by the following vote:

<br />Council,mn Gould, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitle~

<br />"Resolution No. 58-151 of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha,
<br />California, declaring its intention to improve St. Andrew Place and
<br />other streets within the City of Santa Ama, and determining that bonds
<br />sba11 be issued to represent the cost therefor, and declaring the work
<br />to be of more e~-- local or orclJ~ry public benefit, and ~-bat the
<br />expense thereof sb-~ be assessed upon a district"
<br />
<br />setting the date of hearing on July 21, 1958, was considered and passed by the
<br />
