On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the bond of Carl Homes, Inc., Center Homes, Inc., Fairhill Homes, Inc., Philip Homes, Inc., Young Homes, Inc. and Andrews Homes, Inc., filed for the improvement of 96 lots east of Greenville Street, south of Glenwood Avenue 8Ad north of St. Gertrude Place, in Tract No. 2929, in the sum of $9B,0OO.00, was ordered released and improvements Special License Staney V. Cormany ~\ accepted as completed. - On motion of Counc~lm~n Embbard, seconded by ~1! and carried, the request of Stace~ V. Cormany, 1917 West Myrtle Street, for a Special License was granted to preach on ii the street at the northwest corner of Fourth and Main Streets, every Thursday evening from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., and to offer free literature, and subject to Agreement and bond Louis J. On motion of Counctlm~n Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the bend of Rund Properties, Inc., filed for the improvement of San Lorenzo .Street, Rosewood Avenue, Baker Street, Hemlock Way, Magnolia Avenue, Don~ Drive, Cieuega Drive, Central Avenue, Cabrillo Drive, Anacapa Drive and Del ~onte Drive and a portion of Bristol Street and a~ey for public use for highway purposes, and dedicating all access rights to Bristol Street to the City, in Tract No. 2594 in the stma of $122,O00.00 was ordered released. Communication was presented by the County Tax Collector advising of the intention to sell at public auction an undivided one-h~f interest in Lot 9, Block '~" of Tract No. 23B, on property located on the east side of Franklin Street north of Pine Street. On motion of Counci]m~ Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the Attorney was instructed to advise the County Tax Collector that the City is desirou~ of acquiring said property.
