<br />Eddie G. Squires, et al gr~nted to erect a Standard Oil Service Station, with one

<br />regulation Standard Oil non-flashing Neon sign 4'~" x 36'4", on property located
<br />

<br />On recommendation of the PlAnning Commission and on motion of Councilman Hubbard,

<br />seconded by Hall and carried, the request of George A. Wise was granted for a ninety-
<br />
<br />day extension of time on Variance Application No. 940, granted March i7, 1958, to
<br />
<br />permit the erection of a ~O' x 150' crane-way on property situated at 2516 South
<br />
<br />Cypress Avenue, for the handling, storing and fabricating of structural steel.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the petition signed
<br />
<br />by Reverend Odie Gunter of the Edinger Street Church of the Nazarene, reports of
<br />
<br />the Boundary Commission and Planning Commission relative to the annexation of unin-
<br />
<br />habited territory designated '~Edinger and Center North Annex", were received and
<br />
<br />filed.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Besolution, on motion of

<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br />"Resolution No. 58-221 giving notice of proposed annexation to the
<br />City of Santa Ana of that certain un~nh~bited territory described
<br />herein and designated 'Edinger and Center N. Annex', and giving
<br />notice of time and place for hearing of protests thereto"
<br />
<br />fixing the date of hearing on October 20, 1958, was considered and passed by the
<br />
