RESOLUTION NO. 78-104 '7~- ~ '; <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION 77-84 TO ADJUST THE COMPENSATION FIXED <br />AND ESTABLISHED FOR THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of City Manager of the City of Santa Aha became vacant <br />effective August 4, 1978 due to the resignation of Mr. Bruce C. Spragg; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council on July 25, 1978 desiring to appoint a current <br />officer of the City to serve as Acting City Manager until the recruitment and <br />selection of a permanent replacement can be made, appointed City Attorney Keith <br />L. Gow, to serve in a dual capacity as Acting City Manager-City Attorney, effective <br />August 4, 1978; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council intended, and now intends that the City Attorney's <br />compensation be adjusted effective from and after August 4, 1978, in consideration <br />of the additional duties and responsibilities he has assumed as Acting City Manager. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br />That Resolution No. 77-84 be amended to change the salary fixed and <br />established for the Office of City Attorney from $3,520.00 per month <br />to $4,000.00 per month. <br /> <br />me <br /> <br />That said adjusted salary shall be paid in the same manner and at the <br />same time as other monthly salaries in the City are paid, and shall take <br />effect and be paid from and after August 4, 1978. <br /> <br />3.
