Powell, <br />Boundary Commission, <br />et al <br /> <br />Petition <br />One-way traffic on <br />Walnut Street and <br />on First Street - <br />Nearing Jan.19, 1959. <br /> <br />~e Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Council-~n Eubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 58-276 authorizing condemnation of certain real <br /> property for the widening of Borchard Street, on the north side, <br /> 4mmediatelywest of Olive Street" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Nubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., <br /> A.A~all, J. Ogden Markel <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen Dale N. Reinly <br /> <br />On motion of Council-~u Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, action on the <br /> <br />Ordinance amending Chapter 2 of Article III of the Santa Ama Municipal Code relating <br /> <br />to traffic regulations, was continued until the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of ~ou~cllm,, Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the following <br /> <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordinance regulating the hours of Prentice Park Zoo and <br />prohibiting entry during closed hours" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />On motion of Co1A~c~lman ~Ould, seconded by Nubbard and carried, action on the <br /> <br />Ordinance adopting regulations to prohibit the littering of streets and private <br /> <br />properties in the City, was continued until December 1, 1958. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of <br /> <br />~oun~ilmau Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordlna~ce entitled: <br /> <br />"Ordina~ce No. NS-B51 declaring the annexation of that certain <br />te~ritory designated 'Edimger and Center N.
