<br />Counctlm-~ Gould, seconded by Eall and carried, the following Besolution entitled:

<br />"ltesolution No. 58-297 declaring intention to call a Special
<br />Election in that certain territory herein designated '$,31ivan
<br />and Edinger Annex' to submit the questicm of annexation to the
<br />City of Santa Aha to the electors residing in said territory
<br />and fixing a day and hour for property owners to show cause why
<br />said territory should not be ~-~exed"
<br />
<br />setttng the date of hearing on December 29, 1958, at 8:00 P.M., was considered
<br />

<br />Measure carried in the November 4, 1958 General Election, with reference to in-
<br />creasing c~npensation of each member of the City Council to the stun of $125.00
<br />per month,
<br /> From the City of Orange proposing to -n~ex property located northwest of the
<br />City, Annexation No. 102, and properties located northeast of the City, Annexations
<br />Nos. 98 and 101, and
<br /> Fr~n Mrs. E. Ross suggesting that a Convention Hall be constructed at the
<br />Municipal Bowl site.

<br />the District that the City of Santa Ana does not Wish to pay out of municipal funds
<br />
<br />any portion of the amount of taxes to be derived fr~m the area of the Metrepolitan
<br />
<br />Water District lying within the City, for the fiscal year 1959-1960.
