On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Co~d and carried, Tentative Map of Tract No. 2805 filed by Bullock's, Inc., on property located west of and fronting on Main Street, 2~00 feet north of the Santa Ana Freeway (Fashion SQu~re), consist-~ lng of nine unusual lots, was approved subject to a condition. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Could and carried, action was continue~ until March 16, 1959, on Tentative Map of Tract No. 2768 filed by George H. Rose on property situated generally between First and Myrtle Streets and 365 feet cast of Sullivan Street, consisting of 56 lots. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Map of Tract No. 2650 filed by John B. Kilroy and Long Beach Leasing Corporation, for the dedication~ of Delhi Road, Central Avenue and drainage easements and dedication of all vehicula~ access rights to Delhi Road except street intersections to the City, also dedicatio~ for street purposes Susan Street, reserving the right to subsequently dedicate ease~ ments for railroad purposes to th~ Pacific Electric Railway Cc~pany, and bond in the s~un of $52,000.00 were approved, drainage fee in the sum of $7,951.50 accepted and agreement covering improvements ordered signed. O~ motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Co~ission~was approved and Variance Application No. lO61 of Hazel N. Proctor granted to remove all existing buildings on property situated at the northeast corner of Eighth and Parton Streets, (609, 615, 619 and 681 Eighth Street approx!~etely ~80 foot frontage, in .R-3 District, and erect professional offices, including offices for Attorneys, Insurance, Accountants, Architects, etc., together? with medical Doctors and Dentists; and also make provision on the ground floor for druggists, restaurants~ or similar commercial uses that would be advantageous to the' Civic Center and to provide smple off-street parking space, subject to condition~ and deleting the word "etc". It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that action be continued until the next meeting on request of Penn Van and Storage Company for a change of street name from Santiago Way to P~un Way, and on the recommendation of the Planning Department that the name of Santingo Avenue be changed to Santiago Street. It was moved by CoUncilman Hubbard, seconded by Markel and c~rried, that action be continued u~til such tinge as the Final Map is file~ on request~ of Louis StrlAikman that setback lines be established on property consisting'of approximatel~ ten acr~s~ located generallyat the southeast corner of the proposed Fairview Street and Edinger'Street intersection.
