<br />which said Resolution No. 59-38 authorized the Mayor and Clerk of the Council to

<br />execute for and on behalf of the City an agreement to the Board of Supervisors for
<br />
<br />the purchs~e of tax deeded land, being the no--st portion of Russell Avenue w~st

<br />Municipal Code to chef_ge district classification of certain
<br />property and to amend Sectione~ District Map 25-5-10"

<br />and to reclassify from C-1-PK District to the C-2-PK District property bounded on
<br />
<br />the north by Delhi Road, on the east by Main Street, on the south by the Pacific
<br />
<br />Electric Railway right-of-way, and on the west by a line approxfm~tely 322 feet west
<br />
<br />of the center line of Main Street, in accordance with Amendment Application No. 267
<br />
<br />~nftiated by the Planning Commission, was considered and passed by the following
<br />

<br />Ordinance entitled:

<br />"Ordinance amending Part 3 of Chapter 3 of Article IV of the
<br />Santa Ana MAmicipal Code, regulating pool halls"
<br />
<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading, with the provision
<br />
<br />relating to Police Officers be stricken from the Ordinence.
<br />
<br />A petition was presented signed by approxi~etely 86 persons requesting that either
<br />
<br />a four-way stop or sig~ lights be installed, at First and ~,~Lliw~n Stre(t~ and oD
<br />
<br />motion of Counc!~man Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the petition was
<br />
<br />received, filed and request denied.
<br />
<br />On motion of Counci!~en Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the application of
<br />
<br />L. M. Guyon, dba State Merchants Police, for a business permit to operate a patrol
<br />
<br />service was referred to the Police Department for investigation, processing and
<br />
<br />report back when the applicant has fulfilled the necessary requirements as set
<br />
<br />forth in the Municipal Code.
