<br />planted, and suggesting that before further widening operations begin, the Department
<br />of Public Works furnish the Cc.~.ittee a plan showing the possible location of the
<br />palm trees so that Committee members may make a further survey of the desires of
<br />the property owners,

<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the written recon~nend-
<br />
<br />ation of the Manager dated January 30, 1959, for salary step increases for one
<br />
<br />employee, effective February 1, 1959, and for eight employees, effective March 1,
<br />
<br />1959, was approved.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Markel and carried, proper officials were
<br />
<br />authorized to execute contract dated February 16, 1959, with Harold Gimeno, Architect,
<br />
<br />reference certain revisions in the electric services of the Municipal Library to
<br />
<br />permit future connection of said services to future master service to be located in
<br />
<br />the Police Building.
