West et aL rearranging lot lines affecting four lots between <br />Broadway and Victoria Drive, approximately 630' south of Santa (~ (2117 Victoria <br />Drive,) was approved subject to conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by GOuld and carried, Preliminary Record <br />of Survey Map submitted by J. B. Shamel and Al'thur C. Davis dividing into three <br />lots property located at the southeast corner of Chestnut and McClay Streets, was <br />approved subject to conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Ma]~, seconded by Markel and carried, the recommendation <br /> <br />of the Planning Commission was approved and Variance Application No. 1068 filed by <br />Midco Corporation granted to permit erection of a sign, 10' x 18', in size, to <br />advertise the sale of homes in Greenville Estates, Tracts 2041 and 2260, on property <br />situated at 2028 Greenville Street, in R-1 District, subject to conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission was approved and Variance Application No. 1069 filed by <br />John E. and Adelaide D. Dauiell granted to permit construction of a new building in <br />place of existing building, on property situated at 702 East 17th Street, in <br />District, to be used for offices of Doctors, Dentists, Attorneys, Accountants, <br />Engineers, Architects, Real Estate and Insurance Brokers, Agents and Saleamen; and <br />other similar business offices; also erect a lighted sign 6' x 12' in size, either <br />on the west side of the building or on the roof; and erect 12 square feet of sign <br />for each office, the parking area to be provided as shown on plot plan, subject to <br />conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of Cou~lcilman Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the reconm~ndation of <br />the Planning Con~nission was approved and Variance Application No. 1070 filed by <br /> <br />Pete A. and Cecelia N. 0rosco granted to permit erection of a three-bedroom house, <br />consisting of 1360 square feet, on front portion of property consisti~ of Lots 31 <br />and 32, decreasing the distance between the new buildings and the existing dwelling <br />on rear portion of the property from the required 15 feet to 13.8 feet, on property <br />situated at 2056 Standard Avenue, in R-1 District. <br /> <br /> <br />
