134 <br /> <br />Hearing protests or <br />objections against <br />improvement of Towner <br />St. et al A. D. 202 <br />Reso. No. 59-66 <br />Ordering work <br /> <br />The Mayor Announced this is the time and place for hearing protests or objections <br />against the improvement of Towner Street et al, in Assessment District No. 202, and <br />asked the Clerk if she was in possession of the affidavit of publication, affidavit <br />of posting and affidavit of mailing. The Clerk stated she had the affidavits, and <br />on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the affidavits were <br />received and filed. The Mayor asked the Clerk if she had received any written <br />protests or objections against the proposed improvement. The Clerk stated she <br />received a written protest from Paul E. Berry, owner of property at 11~6 South <br />Shelton Street. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, <br />the protest was received, filed and overruled. On motion of Councilman Gould, <br />seconded by Hall and carried, the hearing wns declared closed. The Council having <br />unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Gould, <br />seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 59-66 of the City CounCil of the City of Santa Aha <br /> ordering work to be done on Towner Street and other streets in <br /> accordance with Resolutiom of Intention No. 59-45" <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Amend. Ogden Markel, Dale H. Heinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests having been received, Amendment <br />Application No. 268 filed by the Southern California Edison Company was considered <br />to amend Sectional District Map 14-5-10, Exhibit D, to reclassify from R-1 and R-2 <br />Districts, to C-2 District, property (approximately 305 feet by 285 feet) located <br />at the southeast corner of the intersection of First and Sullivan Streets. On <br />motion of Councilm~ Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code to <br /> change district classification on Application No. 268 and to amend <br /> Sectional District Map 14-5-10, Exhibit 'D'' <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />On motion of Cou~cilm~ Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Map of Tract No. <br /> <br />3356 filed by Fairview Homes, for the dedication of Fairview Avenue, Lingan Lane, <br />Adrian Way, Edison Way, D~hl Lane, Wilshire Avenue, Townsend Street, Raitt Street <br />and alleys for public use; all vehicular access rights on Fairview Avenue and Raitt <br />Street ~ dedicated to the City of Santa Aha, also Lots 'A' and "B" for drainage <br />purposes; also sewer easement as designated on map, and bond in the sum of $110,000.00, <br />were approved, license fee in the sum of $4500.00 accepted and agreement covering <br />improvements ordered signed. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~lm~u Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, action was continued <br />until the next meeting on Tentative Map of Tract No. 3374 filed by Herbert amd Zella <br />M. Salverson and Theo and Nona Y. Lacy, on property located generally between Memory <br />Lane, Flower Street and the Santa Aha Freeway creating 37 residential lots and one <br />large site. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Tentative Map of <br /> <br />Tract No. 2743 filed by Robert G' Risse, owner's representative, creating 28 <br />residential lots located generally at the southeast corner of the intersection of <br />Hazard Avenue and Newhope Avenue, was approved subject to conditions. <br /> <br /> <br />
