NS-~69~elow) <br />~r~ No. NS-370 <br />Establishing speed l~mlts on <br />King and Lyon Streets ,~ ,~ <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, proper <br /> <br />officials were auth=ized to sign escro~ instructions with Margaret <br /> an easement f~r <br />Langton in cmasideratien of $3500.00 for/street purposes on the north side of <br /> <br />Seventeenth Street, west of SpurgeonStreet. <br /> <br />The Council, having unanimously waived t~e reading of th~ Resolution, on <br /> <br />motion of C~uncilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following <br /> <br />Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolutiau No. 59-89 of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ama proposing modifications in those proceedings for <br />the improvement of Tv.~Aer Street and other streets in the <br />City of Santa Aha instituted pursuant to Resolution No. 59-37" <br />setting the date of hearing on May 4, 1959, in Assessment District No. 202, <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal ~. Hubbard, Stanle~ C. Gould, Jr., <br /> A. A. Hall, ~ob Brewer,Dale H. Eeinly <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen Nc~e <br />. <br />The Council, having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on <br /> <br />motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Oould and carried, the following <br /> <br />Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolutiou No. 59-90 accepti~g deeds granting easements <br />for water line and street purposes where city is paying <br />no cash considera~i on" <br /> <br />from O'Neil's Hasty Moving and Storage for easement for cOnstruction maintenance <br /> <br />of a water line 7 feet wide along the easterly side of South Main Street, run- <br /> <br />ning northerly from a point approximately 5 feet north of the easterly exten- <br /> <br />sion of the south line of ~mflower Avenue f~r a distance of 150.004 feet; <br /> <br />from Lawrence C. and Willie ~. Davis; George E. and Frieda Hasenyager; <br /> <br />Herbert O. and Jennie Y. Hyatt; Ralph C. and Ellen M. anderson; Loren W. and <br /> <br />Mildred E. Hagler, conveying a 12-foot street easement along the southerly <br /> <br />side of Seventeenth Street, west of Grand, was considered and passed by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Lacy, creating 37 residential lots and one large site on property <br /> <br />situated generally between Memory Lane, Flower ~treet, and the Santa ana <br /> <br />Freeway, was approved, subject to conditions. <br /> <br />The Council, h~vi~ unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, <br /> <br />on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following <br /> <br />Or die--ce entitled: <br /> "Ordinance No. NS-370 establishing prima facie speed l~m~ts on portions <br /> of King Street and Lyon Streeb" <br />was considered and passed by tbs following vote: <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E.
