Circus at amerige Park, <br />Fullerton, October lO and ll~ 1959, the first part of June and for approxi~mtely <br /> <br />two months thereafter. <br />,, <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the Purchasing <br />Agent was authorized to advertise for bids for construction of three shuffle- <br />board courts in Adanm Park and three shuffleboard courts in ~adison Park, <br />Specil'ication No. 6Rl-13, and £urnishing of two l'our-door sedans in Police <br />Fleet, Specification No. 6~1-18; bids to be opened June l, 1959. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried~ the request of <br />the ~ager was approved for Budget appropriation transfer of ~50.00 from <br />Fund 26-~7~ to Fund 26-~7~ for the fiscal y~ar 1~8-59. <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLman Hubbard~ seconded by Gould and carried, the written <br />recommendation of the Nanager for salary step increases for two employees <br />effective ~ay l, 1959,and one e~loyee effective June l, 1959, was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the Clerk of the <br />Council was authorized to advertise for bids for legal advertising for the <br />fiscal year beginning July l, 1959, and ending June 30, 1960; bids to be <br />opened June l, 19~9. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works and on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the request of George <br /> <br />Taney was denied for access rights to Oeven~eenth Street ~his place of <br /> <br />business on Seventeenth Street and ~abury Streets. <br />,, <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> .Ordinance establishing uniform speed limits on £dinger <br /> btreet, Fifth Street, West Seventeenth Street~ Greenville <br /> Street, Berrydale Street~ Harbor Boulevard and Newhope Street" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br />,, <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion <br /> <br />of Oouncilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried, the following ~esolution <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 59-129 declaring yield right-of-way intersection" <br />establishing yield sign at intersection of ~helton and Second Streets <br />directing traffic on Shelton Street to yield to traffic on Second Otreet <br />and establishing ~ision zones, as reccmmended by the Department of <br />Public Works, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen ~oyal ~.
