Attorney John <br />Cochrau, representing the applicants, addressed the Council with reference <br />to the conditmons as imposed, and after discussion, the matter was ccatinued <br />to June 29, 1959. <br /> <br />On motion of ~ouncilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the reccmm- <br />endatien of the Planning Commission was approved and Variance Application No. <br />12J3 filed by Milo W. and Goldia M. Richards granted to demolish existing <br />garage and construct a single-family dwelling on property situated at 13081 <br />Pomona Street, in R-1 District. <br /> <br />On motion of bounciLman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the recon~men- <br />datien of the Planning Comm~tssion was approved and Variance Application No. <br />1127 filed by Richard A. Huffa, d Howard P. Rubin was affirmed as to the present <br /> <br />use of the building situated at 801 Spurgemu Street which is occupied by the <br /> <br />LOS ANGELES TIMES Editorial, Classified and Circulation staff; International <br />Business Machines Sales Organization and three insurance companies, in R-3 <br /> <br /> <br />
