Joe Vidas, <br /> <br />President, 17th Street Improvement Association, requested the hearing be continued <br /> <br />as the Director of Public Works will give a talk with reference to this matter, at <br /> <br />the Santa Aha College on July 9th. 0n motion of COUnCilmAn Gould, seconded by <br /> <br />Hubbard and carried, the hearing was continued until July 20, 1959. The Mayor <br /> <br />declared a hearing will be held on the adoption of future right-of-way lines on <br /> <br />Washington Avenue from Flower Street to Grand Avenue; no protests were received <br /> <br />the hearing was declared closed. The Mayor declared a bearing will be held on the <br /> <br />adoption of future right-of-way lines on Flower Street, fi-~ a point 200 feet north <br /> <br />of the center line of 17th Street to the center line of Pine Street. Mrs. ~m~l ia Eastman, owner of property at 605-607 <br /> <br />· South Flower Street, and Mrs. A. C. ~eck, 205 South Flower Street, protested the <br /> <br />establishmemt of future right-of-way lines om Flower Street.
