<br />This being the date set for hearing on the adoption of the following Sectional
<br />
<br />District Maps:
<br />
<br />(1) Sectional District Map 6-5-9, Exhibit A, repealing Districting Maps
<br /> l, 5 and portions of 2 and 8,
<br />(2) Sectional District Map ll-5-10, Exhibit A, repealing Districting
<br /> Maps 23, 24 and portions of 25, 26 and 27,
<br />(3) Sectional District Map 26-5-10, Exhibit A, repealing Districting
<br /> Maps 64and 67,
<br />(4) Sectional District Map 27-5-10, Exhibit A, repealing Dist~icting
<br /> Maps 66, 68 and portion of 62, and
<br />(5) Sectional District Map 36-4-10, Exhibit A, repealing Districting
<br /> Maps 12, 28and 59;
<br />
<br />no pretests w~re received and the hearing was declared closed. On motion of Council-
<br />
<br />man Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br />"Ordinance adopting Sectional District Maps N~bers 6-5-9, Exhibit A,
<br /> ll-5-10, Exhibit A, 26-5-10, Exhibit A, 27-5-10, Exhibit A, 36-4-10,
<br /> Exhibit A, and repealing superseded Districting Maps"
<br />
<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.

<br />This being the date set for hearing on the following amendments to the adopted Master
<br />
<br />Plan of Streets and Highways:
<br />
<br />(1) The extension of Segerstrom Avenue as a secondary highway (84 feet
<br /> of right-of-~ay~ fr~a Harbor Boulevard to Newhope Street,
<br />(2) Chauge Delhi Road, between Bristol Street and Standard Avenue, from
<br /> a secondary highway (80 feet of right-of-way) to a primary highway
<br /> (94 feet of right-of-way); and it is proposed that this portion of
<br /> Delhi Road be a four-lane divided highway, and
<br />(3) Change Fourth Street, between the Santa Aha Freeway and Thstin
<br /> Avenue, from a secondary highway (~4 feet of right-of-way) to a
<br /> prfmery highway (100 feet of right-of-way),
<br />
<br />the Mayor stated a hearing will be held on the extension of Segerstrom Avenue as a
<br />secondary highway (84 feet of right-of-way) frc~ Harbor Boulevard to N~ Street;
<br />
<br />no protests were received and the hearing was closed. The Mayor stated a hearing
<br />
<br />will be held on the change of Delhi Road, hetw~en Bristol Street and Standard Avenue,
<br />from a secondary highway (80 feet of right-of-way) to a prfm,ry highway (94 feet of
<br />right-of-way), and it is proposed that this portion of Delhi Road he a four-lane
<br />
<br />divided highway. Charles Ahernathy, 909 East Delhi Road, Mrs. Helen Miles, 2246
<br />
<br />Cedar Street, Mrs. Jane Debrow, 230 East Delhi Road, and A. J. Ortega, 120 Delhi Road,
<br />protested the widening of Delhi Road to a four-lane divided highway for the reason
<br />
<br />that it would increase t~mffic and create a traffic hazard for the school children.
<br />
<br />Fourteen persons stood in protest. The Manager explained the reasons for the
<br />
<br />proposed adoption of the Master Plan of Streets and Highways. ~e Mayor declared
<br />
<br />the hearing closed. The Mayor stated a hearing will be held on the change of
<br />
<br />Fourth Street, het~een the Santa Aha Freeway and Tastin Avenue, from a secondary
<br />highway (84 feet of right-of-way) to a primary highway (100 feet of right-of-way);
<br />
<br />no protests w~re received and the hearing was closed. The Council having unanimously
<br />
<br />waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by
<br />
<br />Hall aud carried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br /> No. 59-200
<br /> "Resolutio~s~ending the Master Plan of Streets and Highways of the
<br /> City of Santa Aha to confom with the Orange County Master Plan of
<br /> Streets and Highways"
<br />
<br />was considered and passed by the following vote:
