Hearing <br />Amend Section 9211-M-1 <br />and Section 9212-M-2 ~ <br />Ordinance ~ ~ <br /> <br />Hearing <br />Establish right of way <br />lines along portions of <br />Fifth Street, McClay <br />Street and Grand Avenue <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />This being the date set for the continued hearing to amend Section 9211-M-1 (Manufact- <br />uring District); Uses permitted, Subsection (a); and Section ~212-M-2 (Manufacturingi <br />District); Uses permitted, Subsection (a); Said Subsection (a) of Section 9211 shall! <br />be amenueu to reau as follows: (a) All uses permitted in P, C, C-1 and C-2 District,s <br />but under the same limitations and restrictions as specified in Sections governing <br />same and specifically prohibiting new residential subdivisions and any residential <br />use other than that which is clearly and t~tionally incidental to a principal use <br />permitted in this Section. Subsection (a) of Section 9212 shall be amended to read <br />as follows: (a) Ail uses permitted in M-1 District, but under such limitations and <br />restrictions as specified in section gow~rm*~g~ same;no protests w~re received and <br />the hearing was closed. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard and seconded by Hall <br />that the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance ~mending Sections 99]~ amd 9212 of the Santa Aha <br /> Municipal Code regulating manufacturing districts" <br /> <br />be introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. It was moved by <br />Councilman C~Duld and seconded by Brewer that the matter be tabled: <br /> <br />Petitions -"No Parking" <br />signs 1000 block, Cypress; <br />Eliminate ~'No Parking" <br />100 block ~. Cubbon Street ~? <br />Reso. No. 59-201 establish <br />"No Parking" between 4 P.M. <br />and 6 A.M. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Ayes, Councilmen <br /> Noes, Counc~l~n <br /> Absent, Councilmen <br />Motion lost. <br /> <br />R*i~.. Gould, Jr., Bob Brewer <br /> None <br /> <br /> This being the date set for hearing to establish right of way lines along portions <br /> of Fifth Street, McClay Street and Grand Avenue, the Mayor stated a hearing will be <br /> held on establishing right of way lines along portions of Fifth Street. Charley <br /> Wolfe, 313 East Pine Street, spoke on behalf of his sister who owns .acreage at 12692 <br /> West Fifth Street and requested information as to why that property was not included <br /> in the recent annexation. }{is questions were satisfactorily answered by the <br /> <br /> Manager. Mr. C. L. Burnett, ~ll72 West Fifth Street, questioned why the street <br /> and <br /> should be widened as it is a dead end street~ Mr. Jeff Flores~ Mr. Hurry Bec~m~u <br /> <br /> requested information as to the purpose of future right of way lines and all questio] <br /> were answered by the Manager. The hearing was declared closed. The Mayor stated <br /> a hearing will be held on the establishing of right of way lines o~ McClay Street. <br /> Mrs. Stanley Gunther, Mrs. Geraldine Douglas and Mr. Robert Douglas, stated there <br /> is. a curve on McClay Street and requested information as to whether this will be <br /> corrected if the right of way lines are established. All questions were answered <br /> by the Manager. The hearing was declared closed. The Mayor stated a hearing will <br /> be held on the establishi~ of future right of way lines on Grand Avenue; no protest~ <br /> were received and the hearing was declared closed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard <br /> seconded by Hall and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance establishing right of way lines along portions of Fifth <br /> Street, McClay Street and Grand Avenue" <br /> <br /> was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />~J~Petition signed by 17 persons requesting "No Parking!' signs in the 1000 block Cypres~ <br /> petition presented by Mrs. Leonard signed by lB persons requesting the parking <br /> <br /> restriction in effect on Cubbon Street be eliminated during the day-time and petitio~ <br /> signed by 24 persons requesting consideration regarding making any change in the <br /> parking situation as it now stands on Cubbon Street betl~n Main Street and Cypress <br /> Avenue, with the exception of ill East Cubbon Street and the "Kwik Snak" drive-in, <br /> were again presented.
