<br />regard to this annexation.

<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following
<br />

<br />reccmnended by the Planning Commission:

<br />Variance Application No. 1151 filed by Hershel R. Chancy to construct a thr~e-bedroom
<br />single family dwelling with carport, approximately 1284 square feet, on front part of
<br />lot on property situated at 2127 South Orange Avenue, in R-1 District, subject to
<br />conditions,

<br />the rear yard requirements on property situated at the northeast corner of Smeltzer
<br />Avenue and Verano Street, on Lot 64, Tract No. 3528, in R-1 District, subject to
<br />conditions.

<br />Conmunication was read from the Planning Commission recommending approval to erect
<br />
<br />a triplex on the lot with five existing units, as shown on plot plan, on property
<br />
<br />sitaated at 15112 Newhope Street, .in R-1 District, subject to conditions.

<br />Hall, representing the applicant, objected to the paving requirement. The Council
<br />
<br />having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman
<br />
<br />Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br />
<br />Application No. 1154 filed by Harold K. and Jean R. Adams to construct a five unit
<br />
<br />apartment on rear half of the lot, with one existing single family residence, on
<br />
<br />property at 933 Cypress Avenue, in R-2 $istrict; ten parking spaces will be provided
<br />
<br />on the property. Ma-. Mar~dith spoke in favor of the Variance and stated there are
<br />
<br />apartments in the area and ample parking will be provided. Joe 0Jeda stated he is
<br />
<br />of the opinion the applicant will remove the older house later. The Council having
<br />
<br />unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Heinly,
<br />
<br />seconded by Gould and carPied, the following Resolution entitled:
