<br />On motion of Counc~lm-n Hubbard, seconded by Could and carried, the comunication
<br />from the Planning Comsnission reeom~mending~ approval of proposed vacation of portions
<br />of Smeltzer, Clinton, Fairview (futux~ McFadden), and Kellogg Streets, was received
<br />and filed.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Brewer and carried, the telegram signed ~l~y
<br />I--wis E. Mantonya, District Representative, Little League Baseball, Inc., advising
<br />the just completed California State Tournament has been termed a success and express-
<br />ing appreciation for the loyal support of the Mayor, the City Council and the Parks
<br />and Recreation Department, was received and filed.

<br />Communication was read from the Planning Department recommending approval of Pres
<br />liminary Record of Survey filed by W. D. Greschner et al creating four parcels
<br />located generally on the north side of First Street approximately 410 feet east of
<br />Sullivan Street, subject to conditions. It was moved by Councilman C~uld and
<br />seconded by Hubbard, that Preliminary Record of Survey Map~filed by W.D. Greschner,
<br />et al, be approved, subject to conditions. W.D. Greschuer, ll08 East Washington
<br />Avenue, objected to the conditions with reference to the alley and the streets.
<br />Motion withdrawn. On motion of Councilman Heialy, seconded by Hubbard and carried,
<br />Preliminary Record of Survey Map filed by W. D. Greschner et al was approved, sub-
<br />ject to conditions, as follows: with respect to the alley surrounding the service
<br />station the City will abandon said alley upon the improvement of said lot, which
<br />permits 400 feet of blacktOP; and the condition with respect to establishment of a
<br />street will be imposed but the position of said street will be postponed until Parcel
<br />No. 7 (13.87 acres) shall be improved, and all other conditions shall be imposed.

<br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that escrow in-
<br />structions dated August 17, 1959, be approved and signed transferring deed to
<br />property regarding the sale of property located at the southeast corner of Delhi
<br />Road and Main Street to $. Wayne and Eathryn L. Harrison, in consideration of
<br />$10,340.00.

<br />The Council having unanfmously ~ived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, se¢o-~-d by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No. 59-220 authorizing execution of a deed granting
<br /> approximately one-third of a lot at the southeast corner of Main
<br /> Street and Delhi Road in consideration of $10,340.00"
<br />
<br />to J. Wayne and Kathryn L. Harrison, r~garding the sale of property located at the
<br />southeast corner of Delhi Road and Main Street, in consideration of $10,340.00, was
<br />considered and passed by the following vote:
