L. Blakeslee, 1130 W. Walnut, <br /> requested information regarding the establishment Of future right-of-way lines on <br /> Walnut Street, and his questions were satisfactorily answered by Mayor Hall. On <br /> motion of Councilman Gould~ seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance <br /> <br /> entitled: <br /> "Ordinance establishing street right-of-way lines along portions of Main <br /> Street and Walnut Street" <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> Roll Call Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hall <br /> , NoeS, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br /> This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 284, initiated by <br /> the Planning Commission, amending Sectional District Map 16-5-10, Exhibit D, to <br /> reclassify from R-1 District to the R-2, C-1-PK and M-1 Districts, property <br /> <br /> Street <br /> situated on the south side of Bolsa Avenue, between Newhop~ and a point 624 feet <br /> <br />west of the center line of Harbor Boulevard, measured at a depth of 1340 feet and <br />660 feet south of the center line of Bolsa Ave~e. Mr. Clarence L. Hall, <br /> <br />12351 Westminster Avenue, representing property owner Dr. R. M. Mueller, stated <br />that this property was most southerly and adjacent to Newhope Street, and presented <br />a petition signed by eight other property owners, protesting that portion of the <br />Amendment Application referring to R-2 zoning, and requested that the City Council <br />change the portion shown as proposed R-2 to R-3 zone. On motion of Councilman <br />Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the petition was received and filed. It <br />was moved by Councilman Gould that the Amendment Application be referred bask to <br />the Planning C~ission. Motion withdrawn. Hearing was closed. It was moved <br />by Councilman Gould that an Ordinance be passed to second reading, subject .to the <br />R-3 uses for residential purposes only, without prejudice, to file the application. <br />Motion lost for lack of second.
