Charlton <br /> <br />Communication was reed from the Planning Com~ssion recommending approval to <br />establish future right-of-way lines on the west side of Broadway, between ~First <br />and W, lnut Streets, ~8 feet measured from and at right angles to the survey center <br />line; o~ the east side of Broe~lway, between First and Walnut Streets, 42 feet <br />measured from end at right angles to the survey center line; and on Both sides of <br />Broadway, between W-l~ut and Main Streets, 40 feet measured from and at right angles <br />to the survey center line. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of <br />the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 59-300 declaring intention to establish future <br /> right-of-way lines along Broadway" <br /> <br />setting the date of hearfng om January 18, 1960, was considered and passed by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br /> Royal E. A. <br /> None <br /> None <br /> <br />On motion of ColAncilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the communication <br />from the Planning Cc~aissio~ was received and filed recommending approval of proposed <br />a~n-~atien to the City of territory designated "Trask and Laird N.E.Annex" situated <br />on the north side of Trask Avenue, east of Laird Street, consisting of 17.72 acres. <br />C~m~mication was read from Ruby J. Fouts, 510 South Cypress Street, dated <br /> <br />November 20, 1959, requesting extension of Variance Application No. 933, for a <br />license for "Home for the Aged," which expire~ November 3, 1959. It was moved by <br />Councilm-~ Gould aud seconded by Hubbard that a six-m~ths' extension of time be <br />granted on Variance Application No. 933. Councilmau Hubbard withdrew his second. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hei~ly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the c~m.~nication <br />was received, filed~ and the Clerk instructed to notify the applicant the City <br />Council has no authority at this time to grant an extension of the Variance Applica- <br />tion, and that a new application be filed. <br /> <br />C.--.....~mication was again read from the Plauning Department recommending denial of <br />Preliminary Record of Surwey, filed by Mrs. R. N. Hockada~, creating two substandard <br />lots located generally on the west side of Baker Street between Washington Avenue <br />and Seventeenth Street. It was moved by Councilman Gould and seconded by Hubbard <br />that Preliminary Record of Survey Map be disapproved. <br /> <br />Roll Call Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C.
