<br />Communication was read fr~n the Planning Co~ission regarding request from Orange
<br />County Street Naming Comaittee to recommend to the City Council a change in the
<br />names "Westminster Avenue" f~17th Street, and "Bolsa Avenue" f~rFirst Street; also
<br />recommendatica from Plannim~ Commission that the name "First Street" be changed to
<br />"Bolsa Avenue", and "lTth Street" be changed, not to "Westminster Avenue", but to
<br />some name not identified with any particular City. On motion of Councilman Gould,
<br />seconded by Hubbard and carried, the communications were received and filed.

<br />Survey map be approved, except that the conditions of dedication be 21 feet, and
<br />proper authorities be authorized to enter into an agreement with the owners of the
<br />property and the City to pay for lO-1/2 feet of the 21 feet, in the total amount of
<br />$8,867.00, and the remainder shall be dedicated free of charge.

<br />subject to conditions.

<br />Harold Berg, stated his clients object to the improvements of curbs, gutters and
<br />sidewalks. It was moved by Councilman Heinly, seconded by Gould and carried, that
<br />the condition of dedication be presently met and that the sidewalks be constructed
<br />to the ultimate right-of-way line; s aid sidewalks be constructed individually as
<br />applied to the lots, t o b e co nstructed prior to the issuance of a Utilities
<br />Release, and all other comditions be impgsed.

<br />on the north side of Brook Street approximately 180 feet east of Bristol Street~

<br />Clarence Hall of Nat Neff Engineering Company, 13016 Euclid Avenue, Garden Grove,
<br />stated his client wishes to dedicate and improve two 10C-foot parcels only, in the
<br />C-1 District, and requested postponement of the dedication and improvement of the
<br />remainder of the property. Joseph J. Catherina stated two of the lots were sold
<br />to Mr. Gottlieb, and asked that the map be modified to show he owns only one lot,
<br />and referred to his letter, dated February 15, ]960, which explains the sale of the
<br />property in question. It was moved by Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and
<br />carried, that Prel~mfnary Record of Survey Map be approved, subject to conditions,
<br />except the condition of dedication and improvement be presently met for individual
<br />parcels on all property, and the improvements be made prior to the issuance of a
<br />Utilities Release, and all other conditions be imposed.

<br />No. 3665, filed by Coordinated Service, Inc., creating 39 residential lots located
<br />generally south of Hazard Avenue and 876 feet west of Verano Street, was approved,
<br />subject to conditions.
