<br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that the request
<br />
<br />of the Norman Kong Market, 719 East Fourth St r e e t, be denied, for limited parking
<br />
<br />at Fourth and Lacy Streets.

<br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that the request
<br />
<br />of the Economy Foodmart, 1302 W. Washington ~venue, be denied, for limited parking
<br />
<br />at Washington Avenue and Bristol Street.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following
<br />
<br />Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Ordinance reducing the prima facie speed limit on portion of Greenville
<br /> Street between Edinger Street and Delhi Road"
<br />
<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.
<br />
<br />It was moved by Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, that escrow
<br />
<br />instructions No. 44569-C, dated March 8, 1960, be approved and signed with Orange
<br />
<br />Coast Hardwood and Lumber Company, coaveying a small parcel of real property con-
<br />
<br />taining 1920 square feet, on the north side of Dyer Road east of Msin Street, in
<br />
<br />consideration of $1,000.00 net to the seller.
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />
<br />Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br />"Resolution No. 60-45 authorizing execution of deed to
<br />Orange Coast Hardwood and Lumber Company"
<br />
<br />for a small parcel of real property containing 1920 square feet on the north side
<br />of Dyer Road east of Main Street, which is too small for use as a building site,
<br />
<br />and upon recommendation of the Manager the Council now determines and declares that
<br />
<br />said property can have real value only to adjacent owners, and in the hands of any
<br />
<br />other owner could only be used for purposes of extortion and nuisance value; the
<br />
<br />Orange Coast Hardwood and Lumber Company has made an offer of $1,000.00 net for the
<br /> and said Resolution
<br />purchase of such property, /was considered and passed by the following vote:
<br />

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of

<br />Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution No. 60-46 concerning parking limitations and curb
<br /> markings in accordance therewith"
<br />
<br />establishing No Parking at any ti~ on the east side of Birch Street between 8th
<br />
<br />and 10th Streets, and installing the signs to effectuate the regulation, as recom-
<br />mended by the Department of Pmblic Works~ was considered and passed by the followin~ vote:
<br />
