<br />

<br /> On motion of CounciLman Bubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the Application of

<br />the M. & W. Bus Lines, Inc., for a permit to operate a taxicab business at 201 No.
<br />
<br />Bush Street, was referred to the Administratdve Staff for recommendation and report
<br />
<br />at the next meeting.
<br />
<br />The Manager presented a request from Mr. D. A. Thompson, 9531 Random Drive, Anaheim,
<br />
<br />for the installation of a stop sign at the southeast corner of Broadway and Santa
<br />
<br />Clara Avenue, on behalf of relatives residing on North Park Drive. Mr. Thumpson
<br />
<br />stated that if mechanical signals could not be installed that two stop signs would
<br />
<br />offer some protection at this corner. The Manager advised an investigation had been
<br />conducted by the Department of Public Works with the recommendation of denial for
<br />
<br />additior~l stop signs at this corner. The Mayor referred the mmtter back to the
<br />
<br />Department of Public Works for further study.
