<br />to span the flood control ditch at Wilshire Avenue and Raitt Street, for children
<br />
<br />to go to school without using Edinger Street, was received and filed.

<br />On motion of cOUncilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the petition of th.

<br />
<br />17th Street, between the Santa Aua River and Nancy Lane, was received and filed.
<br />On moticm of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the request of
<br />
<br />D.A. Thempson, 953]. Random Drive, Anaheim, on behalf of relatives residing on North
<br />
<br />Park' Drive, was denied, for the installation of a stop sign at southeast corner of
<br />
<br />Broadway and Santa Clara Avenue.

<br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that escrow
<br />
<br />instructions No. 41~5'C, dated March 31, 1960, be approved and signed with Los
<br />
<br />Angeles Traumatic Rehabilitation Service conveying property located on the south
<br />side of West First Street, east of the River, for the ~dening of First Street, in
<br />
<br />consideration of $7,500.00.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motiOn of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitle~:

<br /> "Resolution No. 60-66 accepting deed where City is paying
<br /> cash consideration
<br />
<br />from Los Angeles Traumatic Rehabilitation Service, conveying property on the south
<br />side of West First Street, east of the Santa Ana River~ for the widening of First
<br />Street, in consideration of the payment of $7,500.00, was considered and passed by
<br />the following vote:
