Hall <br />Noe s, C cunt ilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously ~ived the reading of the Resolution, on m6tion of <br /> <br />Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitle. <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 60-65 concerning parking li~itations and <br /> curb markings imaccordance therewith" <br /> <br />*stablishingNo Parking Zone~he easterl~ 20 feet of the north side of Second'Stre, <br />between Flower and Olive Streets; the easterly 20 feet of the south side of Third <br />Street, between Flower and Olive Streets; the s~utherly 20 feet of the west side <br /> <br />Flower Street, between Second and Third Streets; and the northerly 20 feet of the <br /> <br />west side of Flower Street, between Second and Third Streets; and establishing 2~- <br /> <br />minute Parking Zones on the westerly 105 feet of the east 125 feet of the north <br /> <br />side of Second Street between Flower and Olive Streets; and the westerlY 30 feet of <br /> <br />the easterly 50 feet of the south side of Third Street between Flower and Olive <br /> <br />Streets, reference request of City Schools, was considered and passed by the follow~ <br /> <br />ing vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent ~ Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the request of the <br /> <br />Principal of Diamond Elementary School~ for additional sidewalks, or a foot-bridge <br /> <br />to span the flood control ditch at Wilshire Avenue and Raitt Street, for children <br /> <br />to go to school without using Edinger Street, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of cOUncilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the petition of th. <br /> per hour <br />residents on 17th ~treet, for enforcement of legal speed limit of ~5 miles/on west <br /> <br />17th Street, between the Santa Aua River and Nancy Lane, was received and filed. <br />On moticm of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the request of <br /> <br />D.A. Thempson, 953]. Random Drive, Anaheim, on behalf of relatives residing on North <br /> <br />Park' Drive, was denied, for the installation of a stop sign at southeast corner of <br /> <br />Broadway and Santa Clara Avenue. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that escrow <br /> <br />instructions No. 41~5'C, dated March 31, 1960, be approved and signed with Los <br /> <br />Angeles Traumatic Rehabilitation Service conveying property located on the south <br />side of West First Street, east of the River, for the ~dening of First Street, in <br /> <br />consideration of $7,500.00. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motiOn of <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution entitle~: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 60-66 accepting deed where City is paying <br /> cash consideration <br /> <br />from Los Angeles Traumatic Rehabilitation Service, conveying property on the south <br />side of West First Street, east of the Santa Ana River~ for the widening of First <br />Street, in consideration of the payment of $7,500.00, was considered and passed by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
