<br /> Ou motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the bonds were or-
<br />
<br />dered released and improvements accepted as completed on the following Tracts:
<br />
<br /> Bond in the sum of $25,000.00, filed by Mailon Builders, Inc., for the improve-
<br />ments on property located on the east side of Newhope Street between Oak field and
<br />Sunswept Avenues, in Tract No. 3386, and
<br />
<br /> Bond in the sum of $165,000.00, filed by Cardinal Homes, Hester Development
<br />Company ~2, Inc., for the improvements on property located between Fairview and
<br />Sullivan Streets and McFadden and Borchard Streets, in Tract No. 3423.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the request of the
<br />
<br />Department of Public Works was approved for preparation of an agreement with Boyle
<br />
<br />Engineering, dated June 15,1960, in the sum of $5,200.00, for a Master Plan of drain-
<br />
<br />age covering City area east of the Santa Ana River, and proper officials were author-
<br />
<br />ized to execute said agreement.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded, by Gould ·
<br />
<br />carried, the request of the
<br />
<br />Department of Public Works was approved for preparation of an agreement with Voor-
<br />
<br />heis, Trindle and Nelson, Inc., dated June]6, 1960, in the sum of $3,000.00, for a
<br />
<br />Master Plan of drainage covering City area west of the Santa Ana River, and proper
<br />
<br />officials were authorized to execute said agreement.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the resignations
<br />
<br />of James G. Hourke, as a member of the Planning Commission; Samuel E. Lyons, as a
<br />
<br />member of the Personnel Board; Mrs. Chloe M. Staton and A. H. Allen, as members of
<br />
<br />the Charles W. Bowers Memorial Museum Board, were received, filed and the Mayor
<br />
<br />directed to write letters of commendation and appreciation for their services.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the Mayor was author-
<br />
<br />ized to sign Change Order No. 2, dated May 31, 1960, with R.L. Steinmetz, for the
<br />
<br />construction of the Recreation Building at E1 Salvador Park involving change of
<br />
<br />design in colored concrete for the patio and providing for increase in payment to the
<br />
<br />Contractor in the sum of $71.85.
