Burrows, Architect, dated September 19, 1960, for architectural <br />services in planning for and Construction of FireStation No. 8, to be located at <br />the northeast corner 'of Fifth and New, ope Streets; and <br /> <br /> With Orange County Peace Officers Association, Inc., dated September 1, 1960, <br />for one year, for use of the target range at the training center located on Struck <br />Avenue, Just east of the Santa Ana River, by llO members of the Police Department, <br />at a consideration of $1,320.O0. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, that escrow <br /> <br />instructions No. h5268-C, dated September 6, 1960~ be approved and signed with <br /> <br />Albert A. and Helen Madzoeff, for property on the east side of Flower Street, south <br /> <br />of Eighth Street, in the su~ of $25,200.00~ for Civic Center site. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard~ seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entitL <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 60-177 accepting deed where City is paying <br />cash consideration" <br /> <br />from ~lbert ~. and Helen Madzoeff, for property on the east side of Flower ~treet, <br /> <br />south of Eighth Street, in the sum of $25,200.O0~for Civic Center site~ was con- <br /> <br />sidered and passed bythe following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, CounciLmen Royal E. Hubbard, Dale H. Reinly, Bob Brewer, ^. A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen Stanley C. Gould, Jr. <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard~ seconded by Gould and carried., the following Resolution entitle, <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 60'178 accepting deed where City is paying no <br />cash consideration" <br /> <br />from Anton H. Ssgerstrom, Nellie R. Segerstrom, Harold T. Segerstrom, Veronica P. <br /> <br />Segerstrom, Harold T. Segerstrom, Jr., Jeanette E. Segerstrom, Henry T. Segerstrom, <br /> <br />Yvonne deC. Segerstrom, and Ann Segerstrom, for street easement for Susan Street, <br /> <br />from Segerstrom Road to Talbert Avenue, was considered and passed by the following <br /> <br />vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. None <br /> <br />The Council having Unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entit] <br /> <br />"Resolution NO. 60-179 approving map and declaring intention to <br />vacate a strip of land fourteen feet wide running north from <br />First Street west of Townsend Street which has been a public <br />sewer easement" <br /> <br />as recommended by the Department of Public Works, and setting the date of hearing or <br /> <br />November 7, 1960, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E.
