Mueller was presented on Variance Application No. <br />1377, wherein Planning Commission recommended denial, to build an additional one- <br />bedroom duplex in the rear of existing two duplexes, on property at 802 Dorman <br /> <br />Street, in R-2 District. Applicant's Appeal states the property on Dorman Street <br /> <br />has a frontage of 220 feet and an area of over 13,000 square feet, and is actually <br />large enough for two separate lots above minimum square foot requirements. Farnam <br />DeTar, 329 E. 17th Street, representing the Appelant, submitted pictures of the <br /> <br />property, and stated his client had received approval from many residents in the <br /> <br />area and only one objection; and further, objected to the Planning Commission's <br /> <br />Finding of Facts, paragraph 3 concerning the special circumstances of a previous <br />Variance No. 908, and paragraph 4 with reference to the obstruction of the view on <br />the street with the addition of the proposed duplex. Mr. Theodore J. Cox, creating 71 lots located <br />south of Delhi Road and apprexfmately .1300 feet west of Bristol Street, subject to <br />condit ions. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the communication <br /> <br />signed by the City of Santa Ana Councilmen declaring their intent and policy state-:I <br /> <br />ment, to provide an interim contract with The Revere House owners for a temporary <br />sewer connection pending annexation to the City of Santa Aha, was received and file~. <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the written requesti <br /> <br />signed by all of the land owners of the territory and buildings and all of the <br /> <br />operators of the business located at the southwest corner of First Street and Tusti <br /> <br />Avenue and operated under the name of The Revere House, for annexation and for <br /> <br />connection to the City of Santa Aha sewers, was received and filed. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, that the terri- <br /> <br />tory which has applied for annexation to the City of Santa Ana, and for sewerage <br /> <br />connection, which territory is located at the southwest corner of First Street and <br /> <br />Tustin Avenue, be granted a temporary connection to the Santa Aha sewerage system, <br />and direct that a special temporary sewer permit be granted to them, in the firm <br />belief that the City Council of the City of Tustin will adopt a Resolution consent- <br /> <br />i~ng to detachment of said territory from said City as petitioned for, to avoid the <br /> <br /> <br />
