<br /> to change district classification and to prezone and establish
<br /> district classification on ~mendment Application No. B29 and
<br /> to establish Sectional District Map 5-5-9 (E~hibit 329 B)"

<br /> This being the date set for hearing to vacate a strip of land fourteen feet wide
<br /> running north from First Street west of Townsend Street,which has been a public
<br /> sewer easement; ~o protests were received and the hearing was closed. The
<br /> Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resoluticm, on motion of
<br /> Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution
<br /> ent it led:

<br /> "Resolution No. 60-211 ordering the vacation of a public service
<br /> easement running north from First Street west of Townsend Street"
<br />
<br />was considered and passed by the following vote:

<br />Noes, Councilmen None
<br />Absent, Councilmen Stanley C. Gould, Jr.

<br />On motion.of Councilman Hubbard, secc~ded by Heinly and carried, the communicati
<br />from the Planning Commission was received and filed recommending approval of
<br />proposed annexation to the City of territory designated "Seventeenth and Mabury
<br />N. E. Annex," consisting of approximately 19 acres, located at the northeast
<br />corner of Mabury and Seventeenth Streets.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the communica-
<br />tion from the Planning Commission was received and filed recommending approval
<br />proposed annexation to the City of territory designated "Twentieth and Lyon
<br />Annex~" consisting of approximately ten acres, located on the east side of Wrig
<br />Street, beginning at a point 528 feet north Of the intersection of center lines
<br />Seventeenth and Wright Streets, extending north 527.7~ feet and east approximate
<br />830.67 feet.

<br />The Council havimg uaanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion o
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution en-
<br />t it led:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No. 60-212 initiating proceedings for the annexation
<br /> of territory to the City of Santa Ana, designating an appro-
<br /> priate name of 'Twentieth and Lyon Annex' for said territory,
<br /> and giving notice of protest hearing thereon"
<br />
<br />and setting hearing date on December 19, 1960, was considered and passed by the
<br />following vote:
