<br /> AA B38 A, to reclassify from A-1 to lO0-Cl-lO, O00 District, property described as
<br /> that area located at the northeast and northwest corners of Bristol Street and
<br /> Mee~ory Lane; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. It was moved by
<br /> Councilman Heinly that the Ordinance be changed to include 200 feet east from the
<br /> center line of Rristol Street. Motion lost for lack of a second. It was moved by
<br /> Councilman Gould, and seconded by Heinly, that the Ordinance be placed on file for
<br /> second reading, excepting therefrom the easterly 387 feet on Memory Lane. After
<br /> discussion, Counc~ 1-~u Heinly withdrew his second and Councilman Gould withdrew his
<br /> motion. It was moved by CO~llc~lman Heinly, secouded by Hubbard and carried, that
<br /> the matter be continued until the next meeting, and the Ordinance rewritten to stat~
<br /> "excepting therefrom the easterly 387 feet o~ Memory Lane," and the property owner
<br /> so notified.

<br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 339, initiated by
<br />the Planning Co..~,~'tssion, proposing to amend Sectional District Map ~-5-9, Exhibit
<br />AA 339 A, to reclassify from the "BP" District (a County classification) to the "P"
<br />District (City classification), property located at the northwest corner of Mest
<br />Seventeenth and Deodar Streets; ~o protests were received and the hearing was closed.
<br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordi-
<br />nance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Ordinance prezoning property within the proposed 'Deodar and
<br /> Seventeenth N. W. Annex' in accordance with Amendment 3B9"
<br />
<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.
<br />
<br />This being the date set for hearing ou Amendment Application No. 3~0, initiated by
<br />the Planning Cc~mission, proposing to amend Sectional District Map 2-5-10, Exhibit
<br />AA 340 A, to reclassify frcm the R-1 to the C-5 District, property described as
<br />area consisting of the southeast corner of Trask Avenue and Berrydale Street, and a
<br />parcel approztmately 200 feet by 260 feet, located on the east side of Berrydale
<br />Street, approximately 790 feet south of the center tine of Trask ~venue; no protests
<br />were received and the hearing was Closed. On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded
<br />by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Aua Municipal Code
<br /> to change district classification on Amendment Application No.
<br /> 340, and amending Sectional District Map 2-5-10 (Exhibit
<br /> .~, 340 .~)"

<br />was introduced~ considered and placed on file for second reading.
<br />
<br />This being the date set for hearing to vacate that portion of Sugar Avenue lying
<br />within proposed Tract No. 3713, Thomas Rodney, 629 Harper Street, objected to the
<br />closing of a portion of Sugar Avenue, as he has used this road for ma~ years and
<br />would have to travel out of his wa~. ~d Rodney, 621 Harper Street, stated that
<br />closing off that small road would create a dead-end road and the valuation of the
<br />property wc~ld be lowered. The hearing was closed. The Council having unanimously
<br />waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by
<br />Heinly and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> Resolution No. 61-20 ordering vacation of that portion of
<br /> Sugar Avenue lying within proposed TraCt Number 3713"
<br />
<br />was considered and passed by the following vote:
