RESOLUTION NO. 88-6 <br /> <br />'A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLU- <br /> tION NO. 87-61 TO REVISE THE WATER <br /> RATES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />REL:mb(6) <br />1/19/88 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the water rates of the City of Santa Ana <br />were previously established at $0.55 per 100 cubic feet by <br />Resolution No. 83-99 of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, by its Resolution No. <br />87-61~ adopted July 7, 1987, approved an increase in the water <br />rates to $0.65 per 100 cubic feet, effective January 1, 1988; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to modify said increase <br />in water rates so as to maintain the current rate of $0.55 per <br />100 cubic feet until January 1, 1989 and increase said water <br />rates to $0.59 on such date; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />No. 87-61 <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That subsection A of section 1 of Resolution <br />of the City Council is hereby amended to read as <br /> <br />A. WATER RATES <br /> <br />RATE PER 100 CUBIC FEET <br /> <br /> ALL $0.59* <br />*Effective January 1, 1989 <br /> <br /> 2. The water rates of $0.55, as established by <br />Resolution No. 83-97 of the City Council, shall continue in <br />effect until January 1, 1989. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~_di~;-C.
