048 <br /> <br />EIR in conjunction therewith: (1) General Plan Amendment <br />No.89-7, (2) Vesting Tentative. Map'No. 88'102, (3) Specific <br />Development Plan No. 54 , and (4) a development agreement <br />between the City of Santa Aha and Birtch'er Xerox Partners <br />approved by Ordinance No.NS-2031 After submitting the <br />applications, the Applicant made n~merous~hanges in the Xerox <br />Centre Development to mitigate perceived environmental impacts. <br /> <br /> Based upon the applications and subsequent <br />modifications, this City Council approves the following actions <br />(collectively referred to as the <br /> <br /> (1) An amendment to the City General Plan. <br /> <br /> The proposed Project was consistent with the previous <br />City General Plan. (Draft EIR, pp. 2-14 through 2-18.) <br />However, because the City recently updated its General Plan (by <br />General Plan Amendment No. 88-102) and revised the development <br />intensity regulations contained therein, the Applicant is <br />requesting a General Plan amendment in order for the proposed <br />Project to be consistent with current General Plan development <br />intensity regulations. <br /> <br /> (2) Approval of Vesting Tentative Map <br /> No. 88-102, designed for multiple-phase <br /> final maps. <br /> <br /> This approval allows the Project to create separate <br />parcels of land on the 10.6-acre site and guarantees that the <br />City's current land use regulations and policies will remain in <br />effect through completion of the Project. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
