_RESOLUTION 90-003 <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Amending Section 3.5, Part-Time and Temporary Rates, to read <br /> <br /> "Section 3.5 CLASS TITLES AND WAGE P~ATES FOR SEASONAL AND OTHER <br />UNAFFILIATED CATEGORIES OF PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT. Part-time workers employed <br />under the following class titles shall receive wages based on the hourly pay <br />rates as set forth below, effective January 16, 1990: <br /> <br />CLASS TITLE <br /> <br /> BASIC HOURLY WAGE Pd~TES: <br />Step A Sten B Steo C Step D Step E <br /> <br />Administrative Intern $ 6.75 $ 7.00 $ 7.25 $ 7.50 $ 7.75 <br />Law Clerk 8.50 g. O0 9.50 10.00 10.50 <br />Senior Administrative Intern 8.00 8.25 8.50 8.75 9.00 <br />Student Intern 4.25 4.45 4.65 4.85 5.10" <br /> <br /> c. Amending the last paragraph of Section 3.1, Special <br />Compensation Provisions, which deals with shift differential to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Shift Differential. Except for employees in classes represented <br />by the Fireman's Benevolent Association and employees in the classes of Police <br />Recruit, Police Officer and Police Sergeant, each non-management employee who <br />is continuously and regularly assigned to a schedule of work which requires that <br />he/she actually work a minimum of 4 1/2 hours between the hours of 5:00 p.m. <br />and 7:00 a.m., will be paid a shift differential for his/her entire work shift <br />at a rate set ten (10) ranges {5.0.%) above his/her current base monthly salary <br />rate." <br /> <br /> 2. That Resolution No. 8g-087, pertaining to Middle Management classes <br />of employment, as amended, is hereby further amended, effective January 16, 1990, <br />by: <br /> <br /> a. Adding, in Section 3B, the new class title of DEPUTY DIRECTOR <br />OF PERSONNEL SERVICES (MM) at Salary Rate Range No. M-26, $4830-$5742 per month <br />minimum to maximum hiring rate. <br /> <br /> b. Providing, in Section 3B, an equity adjustment to <br />classification of CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (MM) by increasing the assigned <br />level from Salary Rate Range No. M-20 to M-25, $4712 (minimum) to $5602 <br />(maximum hiring rate) per month. <br /> <br />the <br />pay <br /> <br /> c. Rescinding from Section 4.1 the provision of Registered Engineer <br />Pay (ten salary rate ranges or 5%) for incumbents of the class of Construction <br />Engineer (MM). <br /> <br /> 3. That excePt as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of <br />Resolution Nos. 82-110 and 89-087 shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> 4. Amend the current annual budget for the Fire Department to add an <br />a position to the existing class of Deputy Fire Chief and delete one position <br />from the class of Fire Battalion Chief. <br /> <br /> <br />
