Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen Bob Brewer <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 353, initiated by <br />the Planning Commission, amending Sectional District Maps ll-5-10 and 12-5-10, to <br />reclassify from the R-2 to the C-5 District, property described as that area o~ hot! <br />sides of North Bristol Street, between Fourth Street on the south and Seventeenth <br />Street on the north, more particularly those properties zoned residential which fr~ <br />on Bristol Street, all as shown on Exhibit A.A.353A. The Clerk read the communica- <br />tion from the North Bristol Improvement Association, urging the Council to approve <br />the action of the Planning Cn~mission, and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconde( <br />by Heinly and carried, the communication was received and filed. There being no~ <br />protests, the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Helnly, seconded by Hub- <br />bard and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br /> to change district classification on Amendment Application No. <br /> 353 and amending Sectional District Maps tl-5-10 and 12-5-10 <br /> (Exhibit AA 353A)" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 35~, filed by <br />Baxter Joe Young, amending Sectional District Map ll-5-10, to reclassify from the <br />M-1 to the R-2 District, property situated on the north Side of Second Street, be- <br />tween Artesia and Western Streets, all as shown on Exhibit 354-A; no protests were <br />received and the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by <br />Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br /> to change district classification on Amendment Application No. <br /> 354 and amending Sectional District Map ll-5-10 (Exhibit <br /> AA 354 A)" <br /> <br />vas introduced, considered and placed on fils for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on the annexation of property consisting of <br />27.178 acres, located .east of Santiago Street, north of Virginia Avenue, west of <br />Lincoln Avenue, and south of Santiago Creek, designated as "Santiago and Virginia <br />East Annex"; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. On motion of <br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the Affidavits of Publication <br />were received and filed. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and <br />carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory <br /> designated 'Santiago and Virginia East Annex'" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 357, filed by D. E. <br />Liggett, amending Sectional District Maps 6-5-9 and 31-~-9, to reclassify from the <br />60-A1-7200 to the 60-R1-7200 and the 50-R1-6000 Districts, property situated within <br />the Santiago and Virginia East Annex, or more precisely described as that area boun- <br />ded on the east by the A.T.&S.F. Railway, on the west by Santiago Street, on the <br />north by the Santiago Creek, and on the south by a line approximately 165 feet nortt <br />o.f the center line of Virginia Avenue, all as shown on Exhibit 357-A; no protests <br /> <br /> <br />
