406 <br /> <br />Si_enificant Effect <br /> <br />Approximately 110,000 gallons per day of wastewater would be generated by new development <br />on the project site. This would add to the cumulative demand on regional wastewater treatment <br />facilities. <br /> <br />Finding <br /> <br />Finding 1: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which <br /> avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect identified in the final <br /> EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of Findings <br /> <br />The significant effect has been substantially lessened to the extent feasible by virtue of the design <br />considerations and the mitigation measure identified in the Final EIR and incorporated into the <br />project. This measure is as follows: <br /> <br />Prior to building permit issuance, the City of Santa Aha Public Works <br />Department shall determine that water conservation measures are incorporated <br />into the site design in accordance with applicable state and local statutes, <br />including the use of low-flush toilets, Iow-flow faucets, self-closing valves on <br />drinking fountains, and water pressure-reducing wdves. <br /> <br />Si_enificant Effect <br /> <br />New development within the project site is estimated to generate approximately 23 tons of solid <br />waste per year.
